Australia and New Zealand Banking Group or commonly known as ANZ is listed among the top 4 banks in Australia. The bank is the largest listed company in New Zealand and the largest Australian bank in Asia. According to APRA it had 794 branches in 2012.

In 2010, the group provided a range of banking and financial products to over 5.7 million individual customers and employed over 40,000 people globally. The bank operates in 32 countries in Europe, Asia and America.

ANZ shares are listed on Australian and New Zealand stock exchanges with headquarters being in Melbourne. The bank first opened in 1835 as the Bank of Australasia in Sydney and then in Melbourne in 1838

They provide a range of banking products addressed to individual clients includes: current and saving accounts, term deposits, credit and debit cards, home and personal loans and a selection of insurances, such as: home, car, travel, life insurance, income protection and credit & loan insurance.
