Bankwest is a domestic Australian bank with locations NSW, VIC, QLD, WA and SA. Its origins were from 1895 and is wholly owned subsidiary of the Commonwealth Bank Group. As at 2012 it had over 1 million retail customers, 4000 ATMS and 139 stores and 72 business banking centres around Australia. It offers retail customers basic savings products such as savings accounts and term deposits in addition to credit cards, loans and insurance products.
